I use a M2 MacBook Air 16GB RAM and 1TB of storage. I am running macOS 26 Tahoe Developer Beta and enjoying it. I like the new Liquid Glass look of it. 

I have a M4 iPod Pro 13" running iPadOS 26 which is super.

I have not upgraded my iPhone to the betas yet and neither have I for watchOS or tvOS.

For the last 2 months I have got into a Network Attached Storage (NAS) and I am beginning to self host my movies, files and music to avoid paying fees to Apple.

Whereas I enjoy the Apple ecosystem, I do not appereciate paying £200 for upgrades to RAM or Storage which is exorbitant pricing forcing users to buy storage from other suppliers.

What a mess the world is in!  Russia attacks Ukraine. Hamas attacked Israel and Israel reacts by committing genocide out of all proportion. The people elect an egit as President who knows nothing and works only for himself while breaking all sorts of laws. The tragedy is that the Republican Party supports him carte blanche which shows how morally and politically bankrupt they are.  The Democrats have just woken up after six months of silence with Californoa Govenor Gavin Newson standing up to Trump along with Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) of New York's 14th Congressional District taking in parts of the Bronx and Queens and Independent Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont. I favour Michelle Obama and AOC for the next Democratic ticket for the Presidential elections in 2028 but that may be unrealistic. Meanwhile in China Xi Jinping is being replaced as leader and we shall have to see where the new government lies - hopefully less extreme.

 Unfortunately The U.K. is no longer in the European Union and has been paying the price for that decision. The polls say that most people now regret Brexit but the Government makes little effort to rejoin. Leaving the E.U. suited Putin and his followers like right-wingers Nigel Farage and Donald Trump. Boris Johnson was the buffoon Prime Minister who did the damage along with the Conservative Party. These days the Conservative Party seems irrelevant and has been replaced by Farage's Reform Party in recent polls. The devil to the deep blue sea.
